This paper aimed to assess the knowledge, attitudes, practices (KAP), and capacity gaps among healthcare professionals in areas of the Afar Region that were considered hotspots for snakebite. The study found that despite nurses and doctors being the first to respond to patients affected by snakebites, only 1.4% reported receiving specific training related to snakebite management.
