Dieudonné Roland Eloundou Ombede

Dieudonné Roland Eloundou Ombede is a young researcher who is currently conducting epidemiological studies and developing alternative operational methods and mobile health tools to fight against NTDs in Cameroon, with a particular interest in efficient solutions adapted to limited-resource settings.

They are also the founder and CEO of “Log(NTDs)” previously called “My-BeatNTDs-Assistant”, a coalition of young researchers seeking game changing solutions to reinforce country and community ownership of control programmes for NTDs in Africa.

Since 2014, they serve as a field epidemiologist as part of the National Control Program for Schistosomiasis and Soil-transmitted Helminthiasis, Ministry of Public health, Cameroon. Additionally, Dieudonné is a youth NTDs champion on behalf of ‘youth Combating NTDs’, a global movement championing youth-led effort to accelerate the elimination of NTDs worldwide.
