ALAKA Hassan Olayemi is an early career researcher with a penchant for research in areas including but not limited to public and global health, one health, neglected tropical diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and digital health. He recently earned his qualifications as a microbiologist from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. As a young professional, Hassan has over two years of experience in health communications, project management, and research. He is committed to preferring solutions to pressing global health issues. In Hassan’s professional journey, awards, recognitions, and accolades abound, which are a testament to his professional development. Notable among them are the RSTMH/NIHR early career grant, YET4H Youth Researcher Fellowship, and various awards of excellent leadership.
Hassan has over 10 research publications in international peer reviewed journals and has presented abstracts in various conferences, both local and international.
