Dr Maya Semrau is a senior research fellow in implementation research at the Brighton & Sussex Medical School (BSMS), where she has worked since 2017 on the NIHR-funded Global Health Research Unit for NTDs, for which she co-leads the Implementation Research Theme. She is particularly interested in the mental wellbeing and stigma aspects of NTDs. Maya is also the current Vice-Chair of the NTD NGO Network (NNN)’s Disease Management, Disability & Inclusion (DMDI) Cross-Cutting Group.
