Samuel Malogae Badiekang is a Health Research Officer at Ghana Health Service (GHS), with over 11 years of experience in the public health sector. He holds a Master of Public Health degree, as well as certifications in mHealth, COVID-19 Contact Tracing, and Nutrition and Lifestyle in Pregnancy.
His core competencies include quantitative research, project delivery, Information Systems, Nutrition, HIV/AIDS, TB, Epidemiology, Change Management, and Monitoring and Evaluation. His mission is to improve public health outcomes and policies in Ghana and beyond, through data-driven and evidence-based interventions. He has contributed to several national and regional projects, such as the Ghana Population and Housing Census, the Ghana District Health System Functionality Assessment Report, and the Implementation of the Digital Micro planning Program in Ahafo Region. He is passionate about learning new skills and technologies, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to address the health challenges and opportunities.
