iCHORDS will be hosting a Knowledge Exchange Café on Thursday, March 16th, 2023 from 10:00-11:00am (EST)
This presentation highlights the process of establishing and managing Kikundi – a community of practice for NTD program managers. Kikundi aims to center the expertise, ideas, and leadership of NTD Program Managers in the global fight against NTDs. The session will explore the success, challenges, lessons learnt, and future prospects of the community from the point of view of program managers themselves.

Speakers and bios:
Dr Tuduetso Molefi is the national NTD Program Manager of Botswana and the current Chair of the Kikundi Leadership Council. She holds a medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School and an EADTMH from the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
Wyckliff Omondi is the Head, Division of Vector Boren & Neglected Tropical Diseases tasked with the responsibility of steering the control and elimination of both endemic Vector borne and neglected tropical diseases in Kenya.
About Knowledge Exchange Café:
The Knowledge Exchange Café is a monthly event which will bring together individuals to network and learn from one another’s research and experience. The emphasis in these discussions will be on the social and behavioural sciences as they relate to Neglected Tropical Diseases and how they help reach the WHO 2030 NTD Roadmap goals. Each Knowledge Exchange Café will include time for networking and conversation to facilitate interaction amongst attendees.
