June 15th, 2023-Knowledge Exchange Café

Join us this June 15th, 2023 from 10:00-11:00am EST for our knowledge exchange café that will address the use of secondary data in social research: a discussion on ethical, scientific and procedural considerations.

Our speaker for the session is Sarah Sullivan. Sarah Sullivan is the Associate Director of Research Data at the NTD Support Center, where she is responsible for the development and management of NTD-SC’s open access research data portal. She also draws upon her experience utilizing complex statistical techniques, including clinical trials analysis, mixture modeling, and spatio-temporal analysis, to support operational research projects. Sarah earned her Masters of Science in Public Health from Emory University with a focus in Biostatistics.

About our Knowledge Exchange Cafés:

The Knowledge Exchange Café is a monthly event which will bring together individuals to network and learn from one another’s research and experience. The emphasis in these discussions will be on the social and behavioural sciences as they relate to Neglected Tropical Diseases and how they help reach the WHO 2030 NTD Roadmap goals. Each Knowledge Exchange Café will include time for networking and conversation to facilitate interaction amongst attendees.
