About:

Kumail will graduate in May 2023 from The University of Texas at Austin with a major in Plan II Honors, a challenging interdisciplinary program leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree, and a Persian minor. He is analyzing data about leishmaniasis in Afghan refugees obtained from the government of Pakistan for his honors thesis. He hopes to study access of lower socioeconomic groups to services in the national leishmaniasis elimination program in Bihar, India with the Fulbright scholarship.
