About:

Dr. Rachael Thomson is the Director of the CouNTDown research consortium in the Department of Tropical Disease Biology at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM). CouNTDown is dedicated to investigating cost-effective, scale-up and sustainable solutions, necessary to control and eliminate the most common Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Rachael leads programmes that apply health system strengthening approaches to NTD drug delivery, researching how NTD activities can support broader health systems. CouNTDown is a FCDO funded research programme of neglected topical diseases in Ghana, Cameroon, Liberia and Nigeria.
