About:

Graduated at University of Hamburg, Germany in 2000, I obtained my PhD (Biology) at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine. After a decade of research at the University Hospital of Bonn, I joined the Drugs for Neglected Disease Initiative in 2017. My research covered amongst many other things, preclinical drug development in model systems and translation into humans, leading to a strong expertise clinical trials in endemic countries.
